It's game on. What a set by Kyrgios.
He was epic at 3-3, lifting for some brilliant points whch saw him break and move to 4-3 and then serve to go 5-3.
Medvedev held to go 5-4, but Kyrgios did what he needed to do to win the third set 6-4. Kyrgios landed 81 per cent of first serves, and won 17/21 of those first serve points.
The commentators have noticed that Kyrgios didn't hit as long in that set, instead playing more drop shots and trying to bring Medvedev to the net.
A brilliant volley gives Kyrgios the first point, 15-0 at 5-4 in this third set.
But he finds the net at his next rally. It's now 15-15.
Kyrgios really needs to dig deep here. And he does. Serve out wide then a drop shot. He moves to 30-15.
What another incredible rally.
Medvedev lobs Kyrgios, who runs back and hits a tweener to keep it in play. Medvedev comes to the net and then Kyrgios hits the ball back at him and Medvedev misses it.
He now leads 40-15 on serve... and he holds! He consolidates the break and moves to 5-3.

Kyrgios has broken serve against Daniil Medvedev.
He played a brilliant point at 15-40 to give himself two break points when he hit a running volley at the net. And then, at 30-40, he pulled out a massive forehand winner into the back corner to move up 4-3 in this third set.
He's now serving to go 5-3.
Following this Kyrgios v Medvedev match, 14th seed Simona Halep will take on Beatriz Haddad Maia.
Meanwhile, on Margaret Court, Italian 11th seed Jannik Sinner will face America's Steve Johnson.
Courtside, Dylan Alcott said: "At the change of ends Nick said the same to me, 'I'm hitting five cent pieces, 220km an hour and [it's] coming back with interest.' I don't think he's faced someone returning so well from so far back. Giving him [Medvedev] a lot of props."
Kyrgios has held at 2-2, but Medvedev looks in control of this contest. The second seed has just raced to 40-love in his service game.
Reigning US Open champion Emma Raducanu has taken her match to a third set after dropping the opening set against Dana Kovini?.
Raducanu, seeded 17th, squared things up at 4-6, 6-4. She has received some medical treatment but is still well and truly fighting on Margaret Court Arena to keep her campaign alive.
